Lewatit® MonoPlus M 500 is a strong base gel-type anion exchange resin with uniform particle size (monodisperse), based on a styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer. Its monodisperse beads offer high chemical and osmotic stability. Compared to resins with a non-uniform particle size distribution, its optimized kinetic performance enables a higher operating capacity.

Lewatit® MonoPlus M 500 is mainly used for:

» Demineralization of water in industrial steam generator systems, such as Lewatit® WS system, Lewatit® Liftbed system, Lewatit® Rinsebed system

» Polishing processes together with Lewatit® MonoPlus S 108 via the Lewatit® Multistep system

Lewatit® MonoPlus M 500 provides the following advantages for resin beds:

» High exchange flow velocities during regeneration and loading

» Excellent utilization of total volumetric capacity

» Uniform distribution of regenerant, water, and solutions, resulting in a homogeneous working zone
