Lewatit® MonoPlus MP 500 is a strong base (Type I) macroporous anion exchange resin with uniform particle size (monodisperse), based on a styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer. It is suitable for all demineralization applications. Its monodisperse beads offer high chemical and osmotic stability. Compared to resins with non‑uniform particle size distribution, its extremely high monodispersity (uniformity coefficient max. 1.1) and very low fines content (max. 0.1% of particles < 0.315 mm) result in an exceptionally low pressure drop. Thanks to its special macroporous structure, Lewatit® MonoPlus MP 500 can effectively adsorb and desorb naturally occurring organic substances.

Lewatit® MonoPlus MP 500 is mainly used for:

» Demineralization of water in industrial steam generator systems, such as Lewatit® WS system, Lewatit® Liftbed system, Lewatit® Rinsebed system

» Polishing processes together with Lewatit® MonoPlus SP 112 or Lewatit® MonoPlus SP 112 H via the Lewatit® Multistep system or conventional mixed bed systems

» Condensate polishing together with Lewatit® MonoPlus SP 112 H

Lewatit® MonoPlus MP 500 provides the following advantages for resin beds:
